President-elect Keiko Fujimori welcomed world leaders and senior officials to Lima ahead of her inauguration as Peru's next president. Spain's King Felipe VI, Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa, Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino, Japan's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Horii Iwao, China's Science and Technology Minister Yin Hejun, and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau were among the dignitaries arriving for the historic ceremony.
